First thing I’m going to say is Aegis Wings is a great side scrolling, multiplayer, FREE game. Yes I said free, if you sign on to Xboxlive and download Aegis Wings it will be free and you will love it. The game is graphically beautiful and the controls are great for jump in and play.
	Your piloting a modified air vessel used to protect the galaxy from invaders. As far as weapons go you have a standard blaster and then a dozen or so upgrades including a devastating plasma canon and a virtually impenetrable bubble shield that repels most enemy attacks. This game is loads of fun when your solo but the game truly shines in co-op.
Up to 4 people can play on screen at one time and at any time the ships can join together and create a stronger ship to maximize damage. Reminds me of Voltron except with ships, and they don’t turn into a sword swinging battle robot, just a bigger ship. At any time one or all of the ships can separate for a tactical response to oncoming invaders. This is a great polish to a loved classic. We here at Max@Play give Aegis Wing 7 Max@Plays out of 7
