You just woke up a super computer that tells you to build Towers to Defend your reactor which protects your settlement from alien invaders. These aliens come in various shapes and sizes and will come out in waves. Defense Grid is a tower defense strategy game with a less than original story line but awesome game mechanics. As the levels progress you go from having simple machine gun or fire turrets to having ranged blast and status inflicting towers of destruction. Another element that was found to be pretty neat was the ability to curve the path of the aliens by creating different towers. No you can’t just block of the path with the turrets you must have a path for them to reach their goal or they’ll develop intelligence to cut around your towers. Graphically this game is beautiful and runs really smooth, even for downloadable content. The game play alone makes the game worth the download. 6 Max@Plays out of 7
