Mass Effect 2
Developed by Bioware
Publishd by EA |
Bioware has finally released the much anticipated Mass Effect 2 starring the awesome Commander Shepherd. This RPG is the prime example of what Role Playing is all about. Lets start with a few spoilers, that means if you don’t want to know what happens when you first put in the disk you should skip down to the next paragraph. The story starts after Commander Shepherd is killed during an attack on the Normandy by an unknown force and the revived, or literally rebuilt by the Cerberus. Cerberus is the cult faction you attacked in the first installment of Mass Effect. You are awakened by the Cerberus just to find their ship is under attack. Yes this is all before you find out the why of the story.

Graphically the game is beautiful and reflects a lot of detail in character design and facial expressions. The transition from scene to scene is great but the load times haven’t gotten much shorter since the first installment. The action is just as intense as M.E.1 if not more. The dialogue involving Shepherd and the non playable characters still allows you to customize what is said to each person by giving you options in responses. Your response can be neutral, aggressive, or passive. Since I’m just getting into the game I don’t want to give it a rating right off but expect high marks on this action RPG. |
