Just when you think the Dynasty Warrior series was dead they introduce Ninety Nine Nights 2, sequel to the popular N3. Can’t say that this game is any different from the Dynasty Warrior series except for the fact the story line doesn’t totally suck. On the contrary the story line is actually pretty good having you choose between a wide array of heroes to live out the last 7 days of the Ninety Nine Day War. The game play arms you with your typical heavy and quick attacks but then gives you 4 additional energy based power moves that need to recharge after every use. To top the move list off you do have a special screen clearing attack that is quite pleasing to the eye. Just like with all games of this style you still deal with that one invisible enemy that is off screen and can kill you. Overall N3II has done enough to stand out from the others of this genre. 4 Max@Plays out of 7
