Penguicon 2016 Review

I want to start off by saying I was in  disbelief that the convention itself was not all about penguins. When thinking of Penguicon  think of liquid nitrogen ice cream, Tron Guy, and cyber robotic implants. This convention was unlike any other I’ve been to before. Flyers and posters were plastered all over the hotel to different events and parties. There was a cosplay competition a place to play magic gathering and A giant version of the game, Operation. They broke the record of attendance having 1560 guests. Even if you aren’t a fan of science fiction, open software and hardware or DIY. There was plenty of fun to be had outside of the panels such as the Marker Market where artist sold handmade products such as plushes, corsets, and a caricature artist. Above all it was a great event and I look forward to going back next year They even broke the record of attendance having 1560 guests.
