C2E2 2018 Review!

It’s been a long weekend for the Max@Play Team out in Chicago at C2E2, and were here to catch you up on everything you missed and what we’ve been doing. Attendance numbers are estimated to be over 80 thousand people in the largest convention center in north america with over 1000 exhibitors. When you weren’t getting lost in the crowds of vendors you’d be in the autograph line getting something signed from your favorite screen or voice actor. Stepping away from the area altogether you could learn something new from your favorite fandom of how to do modifications for your next costume in a panel or an update for bingeworthy TV series or movie. One things that was unique about the experience was that before the convention opened up each the staff members selected one lucky contestant out of the crowd to cut the robin opening the “gates”  From the beginning until closing their was a DJ onsite playing music from a variety of music, shows, and movies.

Things that made headlines were Young Justice Season 3 titled Young Justice: Outsiders, a report from Comicbook.com say things have taken a step toward completion. Khary Payton, the voice actor of Aqualad in Young Justice said that  “We’ve already recorded all 26 episodes,” Payton said. “We’re just waiting for the animation to come back. I’ve already seen some of it. It looks great. I’m so excited.”

The second season of Young Justice concluded in 2013. Young Justice: Outsiders will arrive later this year on Warner Bros.’ new DC-branded streaming platform.

We also did photoshoots and we’ll have a gallery of the costumes cosplayers and everyone in between look out for it in the coming days.
