Welcome back fellow gamers! This role-playing game is amazing, to say the least. Starting off talking about the classic top-down art style, reminiscent of the Legend of Zelda, the sprite drawings and animation are captivating.
Will the Hero
Our journey is centered around merchant and adventure Will, inheritor of the Moonlighter Rare items shop. This shop sells rare and useful items collected in the dungeons that magically appeared some years ago. Travelers from across the land venture here because these dungeons are the only place where such exotic wares can be found. To make a living and keep the shop alive, Will journeys into the dungeons and collects as much as he can carry before he’s overwhelmed. Once he’s at his limit, whether physically or in inventory, he can use his magic pendant to return to the village.
The Dungeon
The dungeon isn’t without its perils. Many heroes have fallen to the might of the monsters that wander these chambers. Even if you have a team of adventurers with you, the magic of the dungeon separates you and uniquely gives everyone their own experience. Even if Will were to return to a dungeon the same day it will be different with new routes to take and new, rejuvenated beast to battle. This also means there are replenished goodies to grab.
Conclusion
The game seems straight to the point with increasing difficulty. The level progression is directly dependent on your armor and inventory. As you purchase new gear you gain more hp and defense. The story is truly rich and leaves you to answer the questions, where did the dungeons come from? Whats behind this sealed 5th door?
