Anime Central 2018

Anime Central also known as ACEN is an annual three-day anime convention in the month of  May at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare & Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Hosted by the Midwest Animation Promotion Society (MAPS) and one of largest and longest conventions in North America.

Attendance numbers are expected to be over 30 thousand.

This convention is an industry standard with companies with Crunchyroll, Adult Swim, and Funimation just to mention a few big names. The panels Max@Play are interested in seeing are Introduction to Japanese Idol Culture, K-pop Random Dance!, and Hentai:Does This Work For You. The complete list of schedule of events is here.

Among others we’ll be doing is attending the Masquerade, EMD dances,  checking out the video game room
