PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be hosting their first ever esports event.

Announced today from PUBG Corp. the multiplayer online battle royale game makes first ever landmark eSports event.

The PUBG Global Invitational featuring the top PUBG teams from around the world, all for a grand prize of $2 million. This is the first major tournament officially sponsored by developer PUBG Corp. The event will take place in Berlin, Germany on July 25 – July 29.

The tournament will involve squads of four players each competitors, have a limited number of slots for each region in North America, Europe.Korea, China, Japan,Commonwealth of Independent States, South America, Oceania, and North Africa/Middle East will only receive one spot each.
