New York Comic Con 2018

Housed in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center with over 150,000 attendees in a ten-year period placed in the largest city in North America. New York Comic Con.

In a report from 2014 the New York-based, comic event beat out San Diego Comic-Con.

New York Comic Con runs through October 4 – 7

Something new being rolled out this year which is “NYCC NOW,” the concept will have multiple con-related events around the New York City area such as, “fan meetups, game nights, trivia, movie screenings and much more.” The focus will be heavily influenced by pop culture with guests like actor Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) and, his wife and actress Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), discussing their upcoming book The Greatest Love Story Ever Told.

The Mullally and Offerman event is will be for May 31 at The Bell House in Brooklyn. Tickets are on sale now for $40 and include a copy of the book, which is scheduled for release on Oct. 2. Further NYCC NOW events are planned, but have not yet been announced.

If you’re interested in buying badges for the event. There are no weekend tickets they must be purchased following the creation of a Fan Verification account. A policy put in place by NYCC to stop ticket scalpers.

Badges will go on sale next month in June. Tickets prices are listed below.

Thursday: $50

Friday: $52.50

Saturday: $55

Sunday: $52.50
