Mortal Kombat 11 Developer Seals Shaggy’s Fate

Its official, spokesman Tyler Lansdown of Netherland Studios finally confirmed the Shaggy from Scooby Doo will not be a character in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. The idea came around after the Ultra Instinct Shaggy meme resurfaced just as the marketing for MK11 ramped up at the top of 2019. The internet went as far as starting a change.org petition to make sure he was a playable. Lets also mention that this petition has reached almost 400 thousand signatures. With a response like that you would think the team behind Mortal Kombat might bow down to the pressure. Also, look at the fact that both MK franchise and the Scooby Doo franchise fall under the Warner Bros. umbrella, making this appearance more of a real thing at least as far as licensing goes. Of course, we’re not sure how the team behind Scooby Doo would like having their brand associated with the most violent video game in current history. If you don’t think Shaggy could hold his own then watch this clip from the film “Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur” The hurting he put on those guys was 2 notches below “FINISH HIM!” definitely worth the view. How do you feel about Shaggy’s exclusion from the Mortal Kombat Roster?
