Welcome back fellow gamers and dinosaur lovers!. Today Team Max@Play takes a look at Second Extinction. These aggressive dinosaurs give a new meaning to the term swarm. This game is in open beta so we will avoid the opinions but definitely share the experience. The first notable comment is this game features an evolving map, which means, every tuesday and thursday the map will update showing the progress of both humans and dinosaurs based on how everyone is collectively playing the game. Every area of the map is accessible from the beginning but whether or not it’s a good idea to take on an area is a smart decision.
Right now you have a squad of 3 and an option of 5 different classes. Your classes fall into your standard Heavy, ranged, support and scout categories, each featuring a custom load out and abilities. The enemies come in a nice variety with some unexpected special abilities as well. The most common is a variety of raptors which are only slightly larger than the average human. These larger dinosaurs, woo buddy, they are tough and they are faster than you expect.
Enjoy this video and let us know what you think in the comment section below. This video also shows a few of the glitches still being worked out. Just remember this is an open beta. Thanks for checking out Max@Play.
