Power Ranger, Jason David Frank Passed Away at age 49

On Sunday November 21st it was reported by TMZ that Jason David Frank was most notably famous for the role of Tommy Oliver in the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” has passed away at the age of 49. The actor’s representative Justin Hunt stated that the death was a result of suicide.

Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed.

Frank reprised his original role Tommy Oliver which started in 1993 several times throughout the series franchise. Outside of acting he is a professional MMA fighter from 2008 to 2010. Frank in 1994 also developed his own martial arts style called Toso Kune Do, which means Way of the Fighting Fist which is taught at his school Rising Sun Karate, with locations in Texas and California. He is survived by his four children.
