The DC Universe is calling you

 

Hello Fellow Gamers! Team Max@Play has finally re-entered the DC Universe, courtesy of Super High McFlyy. The over arching story of DC Universe Online sets the stage with Future Lex Luthor talking to the present members of the Justice League warning them of a return attack from the villain Brainiac. The war between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom left earth’s defenses crippled when Brainiac returned and made the subjugation of the world easy.  Luthor’s warning didn’t come without his intervention as he releases millions of exobites into the world. These exobites contain a sample of genetic traits of all of the world’s super heroes and villains and placed them inside of the normal humans left on earth. This is where you come in learning of your new found abilities and coming into your own as a hero or villain.

 

In our character creation we used the Joker as our template and customized his look to fit the current style of play. Who wouldn’t want the clown prince of crime to be their mentor, except Batman. But you’ll be able to see all of that from the video we created for your viewing pleasure.  You have to appreciate a game that doesn’t need a lot of system resources to run. The textures and collision moved pretty well even though some of the animation got wonky at times. We’ve found ourselves having a healthy amount of Grand Theft Auto moments when we witnessed fellow villains engaging police so we got involved, even though we were in the middle of a mission. There are plenty of missions and side quest to fill the hours of the day and with the right team with you hours and maybe days can be lost in the fray of traveling from Gotham to Metropolis and beyond.
